Last Resort

It is very difficult to find the way in the city of Boston. Mr. Hubb now lives in Boston, but when he first moved into the city, he had a lot of difficulties to find the way. After some time he met his friend Mr. Penn, from Philadelphia.
"They say," remarked Mr. Penn, "the streets in Boston are frightfully crooked."
"They are," replied Mr. Hubb. "When I first went there I could hardly find my way around."
"That must be embarrassing."
"It is. The first week I was there I wanted to get rid of an old cat we had, and my wife told me to take it to the river a mile away."
"And you lost the cat, right?"
"Lost nothing! I couldn't find my way home. Fortunately, I followed the cat!"
